  • The part is turned (lathe function), then holes are drilled in the face of the part (mill function);
    the holes are then counterbored by helix boring with an endmill (mill function).
  • The sub-spindle clamps the part, pulls out the material, and syncs with the main spindle to cut off the part (lathe function).
